I’ve been in sales and Direct Mail Marketing for a pizza chain and then car dealerships for the last couple years. I am now a stay at home Dad trying to find a new career. I realize how valuable on-line marketing experience can be from my other position, dealing with dealerships who are choosing to only utilize internet advertising while cutting off radio, tv etc. I’m just not sure where to begin. I’m a new Father and husband and have about 9 months to commit myself to learning something to enable a stable income. Thank you for your input.
I’m not meaning a stay at home survey taker or Herbal life dealer. I am talking about basically being an agent specializing in internet sales/marketing for a company that would pay me for my time. What are the skills and demand needed to be considered for this type of position?

Yesterday I received a one page news letter from a company of a publication that my company advertises with. I found over 20 grammatical/spelling errors in the newsletter. The scary part is the President of the company wrote the news letter and I know it was sent to all his clients.
For instance, he wrote a blurb about companies having “to many sales leads”. The use of “to” was used 11 times in this small paragraph!
Would you bring this to his attention? If so, how would you go about it?

I need someone to give me anywhere from ideas of how I should go about contacting the heads of marketing at major corporations to pitch a bid to become one of their advertising sources to actually supplying me with an email list of execs at some major corporations…i.e. Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, Wal-Mart, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Advocacy Advertising Advocacy advertising is normally thought of as any advertisement, message, or public communication regarding economic, political, or social issues. The advertising campaign is designed to persuade public opinion regarding a specific issue important in the public arena. The ultimate goal of advocacy advertising usually relates to the passage of pending state or federal legislation. Almost all nonprofit groups use some form of advocacy advertising to influence the public’s attitude toward a particular issue. One of the largest and most powerful nonprofit advocacy groups is the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). The AARP fights to protect social programs such as Medicare and Social Security for senior citizens by encouraging its members to write their legislators, using television advertisements to appeal to emotions, and publishing a monthly newsletter describing recent state and federal legislative action. Other major nonprofit advocacy groups include the environmental organization Green-peace, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and the National Rifle Association (NRA).
react about is it good for the children? and how it affects our lives or react based on advocacy advertisements.
