Okay, i was recently offered a job for Lincoln Heritage. I know absolutely nothing about selling life insurance! I found a similar question on YA and i was hoping someone could help me understand it a bit more. Here’s the question :
“Should I sell insurance for Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance company?
Lincoln Heritage sells final expense life insurance to the senior market. They gernerate leads thru direct mail and tv advertising. They charge the agents around $20 per lead and want you to take about 30 leads per week and go directly to the home to sell the insurance. They boast projected income of over six figures.”
Now when it says they charge agents around $20 per lead, what does that mean?
And does anyone know about how the pay looks?

insurance sales..your friends will **** you cause your gonna try them first along with family….money may be good only if you produce…like all insurance sales people you’ll end up lieing just to get the sale
First thing, the answer saying “they all lie” is untrue. There are bad seeds out there that give agents a bad rep.
Second, if they are charging you for leads, you are in the red before you even start. No reputable company will charge you to work for them.
There are too many insurance companies out there to work for one that charges for leads.
