What exactly is your product or service, and who are you selling to?

Those are all good places to advertise…

  2. Depending on what kind of food business it is I would market to local places that would best be more likely to be interested in the products you are attempting to sell. It is very important that you market locally if you live in a small town, if you live in a big town it can be equally beneficial, but I would market the newspaper, or flyers idea. Good ways to market without a high cost is leaving flyers on peoples cars or doors at their home. Good rule is the more people you contact the more chances you have to get people interested. good luck, Sabrina

they’re a new site whose sole purpose is to help small businesses grow. They provide tools to connect with the local community and help target potential customers through newsletters and coupons.

    It’s worth a shot, plus it’s free.

    hope this helps :)

It is a good idea to advertise in those places because it shows community support. You should look into local cable advertising. You can run 30 second spots through local cable for as little as $25 per spot in many cases. This will allow you to get a more detailed message out. The small ads in the church paper will just support the larger effort and keep your name in front of people.
